I don’t remember ever seeing the Arts Center. What does it look like?

What refreshments are available?

We serve complimentary coffee, tea, ice water, and light snacks. Beer, wine and pop are available for purchase at very reasonable prices.

How can you fit a concert in that tiny building?

We are a cozy house concert type venue. We comfortably seat 40 or so in a combination of theater and table seating with a bar area, two restrooms, a green room for the artists, and a deck for nice weather.

How can you afford to bring this caliber of musicians to our coastal community?

The concerts are put on by the Long Beach Peninsula Acoustic Music Foundation; a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization. Our bar sales and ticket price cover the musicians’ guaranteed fee. We house the artists in a condo we have at the South end of downtown Long Beach or in our guest room. Donations are always welcome. Ask for a donation receipt.

Where do you find such talented and professional musicians?

We have the pleasure of hearing most of them in the Portland area and many are personal friends. Our reputation as a listening room with an outstanding audience has spread, and many touring musicians contact us to play here.
