The Long Beach Peninsula Acoustic Music Foundation was formed to provide opportunities for Peninsula residents to improve and expand their skills in music, drama, poetry and prose, spoken word, and other aspects of the performing arts, and to give local residents access to visiting artists though Master classes, workshops, concerts, and Artist-in-Residence programs. .

We make grants available to Peninsula residents for arts-related projects and education.

Board President Sue Svendsen has extensive experience in bringing the arts to communities – in addition to having been a leader of the Arts Council of Clark County and a founder of the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics, she has been an adviser to many in the art community.
